Well finally had a chance give her a decent wash and wax and i got some goodys off the wife for xmas so got them all fitted

Spax adjustables on the rear..i’ll be changing all the shocks over to new standard Bilstiens in the new year as the Spax are crap and the fronts seem to have seen better days!

They were a bit hard so i winded them back a load of clicks and went for a drive with the wife..i’d only gone and put them on mega hard! lol she was bouncing around the car like a jack in the box Put them back to softest setting and they are much better and it still handles better than any car i've ever driven.
I got some new shiny engine cover bolts too as the old ones are star drives and round off..and look wank..
Old ones...

New ones....

Old long aerial

New stubby aerial

Errrrrrr new posh tax disc holder that matches the car..kinda

Blueflame Cat back for £100

Old jobbie...

And Blueflame fitted : D

Sounds awesome and very Porsche/sports car like, Just a low deep kinda rumble noise on idle and low revs and dosn't get louder the faster you go..Perfect

Get a video of the exhaust! Looks nice. You should get a splitter on it too!

I was told the standard shocks are crap? in terms of how long they last, there not very strong at all.

It's missing the front cup splitter, apart from that very nice car. Couldn't get on with the massive steering wheel when I drove one tho.

Massive steering wheel isn't too bad, the shocking driving position is though, like a bus.

I thought that when i drove a 172 a few years ago John but TBH i've found the perfect driving position now and it's fine Just like any other car.I have the wheel as far down as it will go and the seat leaned a bit back.

They are Adam unfortunately BUT they are brilliant as standard and have perfect balence of comfort and stiffness. They should last a good 30K and there's no way i'll have this that long for them to go again

I was on the phone to Mark Fish earlier as I've got mine booked in for a service and a full Geo set up he mentioned to me for Fast road use he recomends the Koni adjustables. I'm looking to see whether they do a set for the 182 with the cup pack suspension.
Mine are a little bouncy atm but thats down to the fact it was lowered 60mm when i bought it and its been used quite a bit!
