I was at the VW stealers, and saw that they had a mk6 parked up, looks loads better in the flesh than in pictures

But then again i didnt like the Mk5 until it had been out a while. Might be a grower.

Pretty much yeah. There's just something about it that doesnt float my boat, but can't quite put my finger on it.

The front end looks like some sort of possessed rodent!
From the pictures I've seen online and in magazines I'm not a fan of this Golf, or the new Scirocco. Although I've yet to see either in the flesh/metal.

Because it is, VW are wankers and it has the same chassis as the Mk5 yet still people will buy them by the bucket load because people love to tell their friends at coffee evenings that they own a Golf.

If someone told me they owned a Golf (VR6, Mk2 GTi & Mk1 GTi excluded) I'd drop my kecks and take a dump while they were in mid sentence as inevitably that would be far more involving then having to listen to them dribble on about superior build quality when in fact the car drives like a bucket of water and has a tape deck.

Maybe they have an 8 track stereo upgrade instead of the built in gramophone which is the norm in VW's.
