Got mine tonight! At a hotel not far from my house. Free bar, meal & disco. Usually a few other companies there aswell. Get to take partners too.
Whats everyone else do for theirs? Most people I know have to pay for their own and cant take their partners.

Had ours last friday. There's a really weird guy in Accounts payable that kept going round stroking all of the girls saying "There's men and there's boys" One girl from expenses begged me to save her

got a lads night out tonight in harrogate all dressed as santa (about 30+ of us)
then in jan company has rented a night club/bar in harrogate with free bar

I haven't really got a funny story to tell about last years apart from one of the new lasses got drunk and started telling us she thinks one of the directors looks like Gollum and didn't realise he was stood right behind her at the time

i've seen loads of funny stuff at works xmas parties:
lad called Andy Basnett got smashed and couldn't hold himself up so grabbed the xmas tree and the hole thing fell on top of him.
woman called angela spewed up on our bosses arm then started crting for her mum.
i got ruined and spewed in a pint glass then a bloke drank some of it thinking it was his.
two lads bared there arses to the hotel owner and got fired.
one lad redecorated the blokes toilets with vomit. more than i've ever seen in my life.
we got 2 of the old office girls to snog for our viewing pleasure......
there are probably loads i've forgotten.

so do i! not going this year as they are having a couples do and i'm singular atm. its normally just employees getting trashed on free drink. this is why they are trying to make people behave by having a couples night. it'll be shit this year.

I had my department xmas lunch two weeks ago, and the full work night out last friday
I got in on Monday and had a flashback of making a girl cry....I can't for the life of me remember if it actually happened or if it was a dream and I don't want to ask her incase it was real life and I make her cry again

My company did this last year and it cost about £8k including the bar bill.
