Looking to get a loan for starting a new business. But cant remember the name of the place that does them?
Its not a bank, but something along the lines of Business enterprise?

Scottish Enterprise/Business Gateway, don't think you get them anymore.

If it's got potential surely a bank should give you one?

Yeh i was going to go to the bank. Was talking to my dad, he is high up in the RBS. And told me i have virtually no chance with any bank just now with a business loan.

Scottish Enterprise, they don't do loans, it's grants, which afaik there are none of atm.

Yeh on there website just now. Doesnt look like they are.

Unless the bank gives me one which is doubtfull, will probably have to sell my car to fund it.

You will get one from a bank, but they'll more than likely want good security on it and also will limit what they will loan you to the same amount as you're putting into the business to start up.
