Anyone got any experience with these? My car came with one installed, but disconnected by way of removing the fuse. I would reuse it, but it's only got 1 fob, and it's pretty knackered.

Anyone got a wiring diagram so I can rip it out? I've bought another alarm now.

There's a unit right next to the steering wheel with a bunch of wires disappearing into the cowel. And there's another bunch of stuff under the bonnet.

I would have suggested buying a new alarm which gets you free fitting, and they'd probably rip the old one out FOC.

I've never heard of Moss alarms

I had one on my corsa when i got it

Pressed the fob to arm it, it armed went n the house and seen smoke coming from under the bonnet, went out and had to rip it out from under the bonnet as it had shorted and caught fire

same only it was my dads.

needless to say the crap alarm didnt stop it getting nicked got found in a back lane in a crap area of sunderland on bricks with the alloys missing

same thing happened to my dads 205 gti years ago with a moss alarm
