Had a massive fight/discussion with a religious nut job yesterday who tried to get me to be believe in creationism.

Of course I tried to defend Evolution, but is it still just a theory?

I mean he made the point there is no proof of it and he is right, still believe it more than god created everything, but he did have a valid point.

God damn American bible belt people.

This thread is pointless for a board like CS IMO.

Needs to be more along the lines of which Pringles are nicer, sour cream and chive or texas BBQ.

There isn't much debate, if any, about the fact he existed?

Don't listen to Luigi.

Evolution is the only sane option, how anyone believes that God, whatever form you believe he exists in came along one day and created this planet is dillusional.

I believe we are a direct result of alien intervention.

I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

True story.

My uncle has that hypothesis

I argued by saying then you have wasted your life praying every day and going to church every sunday, for no reason.

If you believe there isn't one, and there turns out to be one - surely he will be nice enough to say 'ah well you've made the most of your life' and you will reply

'Sorry God, my bad'

yeah, i mean tbh if satans tactics include visible evidence then count me on Team Satan, hes clearly far superior.

Speaking of Satan. Why is he evil? Whats the motivation/end game? Or mindless evil? Like say watching over an earth where inhabitants maim and kill and torture each other?

Oh.
