If its had regular servicing milage isn't that much to worry about these days, parts break on a 50k mile car need replaced, parts break on a 150k mile car as long as they have been serviced at decent intervals throughout I wouldn't worry.

Damons old 318is???

I wouldnt touch that thing either. Its a dug.

And iirc,it hasnt got the full M3 kit.Dosnt have the lip splitter or M3 lower grille.

Oh and its not on the original engine so that mileage could be even higher.

firstly why would you stay away because its on 148k, bms will go on forever if serviced wel, and secondly the 318 'is' is reworked engine producing 140bhp apposed the 318 which produces 117bhp, mine is the 'Is' and isnt sluggish and its in turn alot lighter then my 320i saloon was making it better in many ways, 6 pots sound nice, but arent be all and end all.

The bm in question looks like it could do with abit of a tidy up and abit of de-chaving so id say around the £1200

It would fail on emissions as it didn't seem to be running properly on all cylinders Potentially the spark plugs, potentially worse.
