Completely a guess but I'm going to say no. Even if they're physically a similar size, they're likely to have completely different load characteristics. I certainly wouldn't consider it given that Corsa ones are not expensive anyway.

I bet you will with polo springs on there. Handling will be shit, the springs will be the wrong pondage, wrong rebound rate etc.

Just get corsa ones

My mum has been driving for 25 years with full no claims yet she had a crash last year, and i guarantee that she is a better driver than you.

Doesnt mean anything, get too cocky mate and you'll end up writing your car off just like i did,

but further to your question they wont feel right as Hamish said worng pondage etc, and probably wont fit, stick to Vauxhall/GM/Opel.

£45 for some vw springs? why not just pay that extra £15 and buy brand new set of -60mm corsa springs all round..

or get the -60mm nova springs (-65mm on corsa)

Maybe he doesn't want to lower it...

Just to say, the guy's asked a valid question and got an answer. People go on to say that he WILL crash if he fits polo springs. I'm not going to get into that argument, but I can't see a set of springs being so bad that they would physically cause you to swerve off the road.

But the thing is, all these people who are telling him he will crash - maybe yes but I think optomism is allowed (i.e. - him saying he won't crash)

I don't know why so many people need to tell them how their grannies are better drivers, and I don't know what's more sad - the fact that someone corrected just 1 spelling mistake or the fact that someone got congratulated for it

Same as ever in here - if you're not a member or have a nice car you get the piss ripped. From what I've read the guy's not done anything to deserve a flaming anyway.

I take that part of that is a dig at me, well he said he doesn't crash and I made an example of why he is wrong in saying that.

People are having a dig because it potentially isn't safe to be fitting those springs to his car even if they do fit.

No, people are having a dig because he said he doesn't crash. Something that you can't be sure of, but also something that could be true. Instead of people just saying that it turns into him getting the piss ripped.

Have noticed it before, and just happened to want to say about it. Not saying anyone's being agressive or threatening but I know I'd be thinking twice about sticking around here if I was him.
