Anyone know if theres any forums based on car bodywork repairs?

Think this is what i'd like to do in the future, just want to see what im letting myself in for

Daniel_corsa knows of a website that does alot of body work, think its sbs or sbd body work, have a look in his garage, its on the rear window of his old corsa

only way is to get stuck in and learn it for yourself nothing else compares. find yourself a few dented pannels from the scrappy and have a go at sorting them out. thats how i learnt

best advice i can give is dont do it. do a search on here for many thread regarding these kind of jobs

Im just thinking about what i would like to do when im older. I thought i might enjoy bodywork. Its either this or mechanics but the moneys shite in mechanics imo

What makes you think its much better in body repair? My advice to you would be to stay clear of the motor trade mate, its hard to earn LOADS of money and if your on good money your usually working every hour god sends. Its a great skill and very helpful just not a great career path, esp considering how unstable the motor trade is currently.

Unless you own your own garage then bodywork is not a very well payed job either. The customers get charged a lot but most of it goes to the boss lol
