well ive been looking at getting a Astra GSI turbo between 5-7k. But my dads mats cossie sierra is for sale for around 3.5. so would you just get the GSI or get the cossie and get something like a mint vts/gti for a runabout. thing with cossie is insurance and running cost/parts etc.

vts isnt what id call cheap to run, a corsa cdti is more my cup of tea reliable and cheap

cosworth, maybe a tad old, but tbh for half the price there gona be alot more fun, 803 injectors, 3bar map, chip and slightly bigger cooler got a easy 350bhp

cossies are reliable as long as looked after, so i wouldnt really worry, cant see being much dearer than the vaux parts tbh.

+ astra gsi's are over rated and shit standard, then got to spend a decent wedge to get to even 280bhp!!

id have the cossie, my father had an escort cossie 400bhp. was awsome!!

astras are crap standard though.

ive got an n reg 1.4 polo for work, and tbh since march ive not touched it besides tyres. 1st car ive had that i dont have to crawl over speed bumps, and can put anything in it.

Im assuming its a Sapphie Cossie in which case neither that or the Astra, E36 M3, best of both worlds.
