Anyone got this camera? The gadget show seem to think it's the best medium priced camera at the moment and i want to know if they are lying or not.

Haven't got one but i'd agree with them, excellent camera, I have it's older, less cool, brother the 350D.

I got a 450D for my 21st.

I'm a complete amateur and find it easy to use. The preset functions are ace, so as soon as you get it, if you're an amateur, you literally point & shoot. The manual is also very helpful.

Whether it'll stand the test of time, I don't know.

But yeah, I recommend it

You'll pick up a nice 400D second hand for sub £200 if you look in the right places
