How do they know theyrs a hole in the piston and how would that be possible without damage to other parts??

Its probably a coil pack thats away on no3 causing it to mis-fire.

may be done a compression test, but still doesnt prove its a piston! still quite cheep tho.

If its something internal say piston or ring, it would be a cheap fix and a good runabout. Worse case would probably be cracked head.

Yeah thats what i mean.Low compression on no3 could be alot of things and without stripping it,you wouldnt know exactly.Thats why i asked how theyd know it was a hole as going by the pics and vague description, they dont know themselves what it is.Some1 who is mechanically minded will go have a look and snap it up realising its no as bad as theyr making out.

Either way, £900 for a Corsa C is cheap. Even if you spent £1000 on another engine to go in plus labour etc, it's still cheap
