i have a problem with my 1996 b1.4 sri 16v the speedo stopped workin and wen engine man light comes on it cuts out but starts straight up only done it since speedo stopped its cable btw

needs new speedo cable mate, is a common thing. something to do with the ecu causes it to cut out

on my old corsa the speedo cable snapped and did the same thing. its because the ecu isnt getting a reading so cuts out

its a shitty fiddly job to do too. take you battery out for a little more room.

this is because the speed sensor is driven by the speedo
