Does anything like this never happen to me, lucky twat. Fair enough he has to piece it all together, but for 10k I would happily do that, I'd even do it wearing mittens.

They're massive pieces, i'd put them together no problem.
I think it's up to the bank though, i've seen something on discovery, they have a department that deals with that for money burnt in fires etc because they will swap it for you.
May possibly have been an american program.

I think any bank will take it. I've taken in a £20 pound note before that's been selloptaped together and they've swapped it for a new one. Or just pay it into your account. Pretty sure as long as it's intact they'll accept it.
