Yeah, i'm on nights this week funny enough, I do 22-6, I normally find myself waking up around about 1-2. eat a big meal around about 5, normally end up getting some chips or something in work (although I know I shouldn't lol) and drink endless supplies of tea in work

I work weekends, & work the sunday night. Go to bed as late as i can on the saturday night & sleep most of sunday day time without eating much. Wake up about 5pm, have a bath, leave for work & start at 7. normally have my food at 1am, get a takeaway. Work 11 hour shifts. Hope that helps you out abit.

Worked nights for 4 years now but also due to uni and stuff had to be up through the day so my body clock is completely fucked up now
I usually sleep till 3pm if ive worked the night before and working the next night.
Sleep till 1pm if ive been up through the day the day before (like today)
Big meal at around 5pm, pack up at 3.30am then straight to bed when i get home, sleep from around 7am till 4, if im working and 11 if im up through the day.
Somehow that works for me

Its easy when you get used to it, just becomes normal. Doing it full time is/can be a annoying socially as when everyones out having fun, your at work

i've been doing alternate shifts for 16 months now.
i do 1 night shift every 3 weeks.
10:30pm-6:30am - get home about 7, go to sleep about 7:30am - 3:30pm then up and do what i want.
it's really easy to do once you get into it.
oh and i have 4 meals. 1 big meal before work, 2 during work and one when i get home (usually 4 eggs scrambled).

Exact same as me, nights arent that bad once you get used to them. I spend a lot of time at work with nothing to to though (maintenance leader) so its usefull to take something to keep you entertained if you can, like take your laptop and dont over look taking a book, never read since school until I started doing nights!
