I never actually noticed for about an hour after the breakage when my knuckle was pushed back and was swollen to hell.
apparently the xray showed my hand was still menting from another breakage.....which i didn't even realise

Oh dear, I too have a broken hand, but this is from last year..I broke the bone that runs down from your little finger and I have a piece of bone floating around the centre of my hand somewhere, hurt like fook when I did it.

i had someone hit me with a sledge last yea, somehow missed my bones by milimeters, and just major bruising. i was soooo lucky
