get a straight through pipe aswell mate it gives the exhaust a deeper tone

but if just fitting back box i dont think there will be much difference soundwise from standard.

They sound nice when you boot it, on idle they aren't much louder than standard.

not get a 'straight through' as somebody said.

It will make it stupid loud and probably slower

Wtf is that based on?!

The GT3 centre section I fitted to mine added to the noise, but not by much, just made it a bit throatier, and actually helped low down torque.

Bases on my mechanics old 106. No cat, no centre box just back box and it was stupid loud and felt flat as fuck after 4k. Soon has he put centre box on, flew to the redline.

Straight through exhaust are for proper cars with big power or forced induction - not shitty little hatches with 1.4s

I've got an irmy box on my C and it gives a slight burble on idle with a slightly deeper sound when you boot it. Its nice and subtle tbh, makes the car sound nicer with out being ott.
