what relaible hatchbacks could i get for £2000

ive had a 1.4 sport and a saxo VTS...what else could i get for £2000 that wont fail me? needs to be fast

Not much! You may find a Clio 172 for that price. But you'll have to search for one to be decent at that price!

some kind of vtec civic will be reasonable quick and wont break


might get a ph1 clio 172 for that. Not sure how reliable it would be though for that money

i may just stick with the VTS but get a daily runner...corsa would be easy as ive got everything to slag one up... 1.4 sport here we come...the VTS is getting garaged, stripped, slammed and cammed ftw...i cant hack the unreliablity at the moment!:@

Buy a cheapy corsa then as a run around and make it look smart but keep it slow and good on jucie to save for the other cars juice.

Should be able to pick up an early Clio Sport for that price.150bhp model.The nicer,raw looking version.

And? Tough time of year, and it isn't much over £2000 chum. There are loads of VTIs around for 2k - thats a good spec for the money.

i would say is a fair bit over 2k, i can say ive never been to look at a car and knock off 800quid but fairplay if you can

but no i dont think the 106's/vts' are classed as reliable.

the starlet turbo's are awesome cars for the money, especially as they've dropped in prices recently

I wasn't specifically saying go and buy that example, it has probably been thrashed but it shows a different car that I would assume is reliable, better built and less chavvy than the above mentioned cars. I'd look at them if I was spending 2k on a hatch..

ive always fancied a civic vti tbh or a nice crx del sol even if they are slightly hairdressers car
