Author downturned tip exhaust...help!

So i bought an exhaust for my passat very very cheap....but i hate the tip...i want it hidden. soooo wanna lop the letterbox off and get a downturned end...its a 2.25"...which is too big for a generic tip!

heres some pics for shits n gigs







heres a pic of it off the car..u can see that the tailpipe is seperate so removing it should be easy!


would a normal 90 degree pipe with a flanged end made be suitable? anyone got one

Cut the end off with a grinder, go to a scrappy and get a derv exhaust with the right bore, and weld that tip on tbh.

u reckon there are many that have a 2.25" bore? as my ones are tiny on it atm..altho there are two of them!

good idea.few motors you could look at if youre only using the tip and welding it on.

Buy a 90 degree stainless steel bend with the right diameter on ebay and cut it down mid bend
