Hey all i know this is a corsa forum, but still love coming on here
idea's for tuning a VTS, as i have one and already want more power
4-2-1, decat and an enclosed induction kit is said to pull them good and looking at 15 bhp from that then cams? 140bhp...how do i get 160
and how much?

As you said, with a 4-2-1, decat, cat back system and induction kit you'll be at about 140bhp. Decent cams and a remap will get you near enough your 160bhp!

usual breather mods etc and as eck says cams and remap should boost it up to 160+bhp ways

That would work out a lot more expensive.

what running two cars?
insurance for 1.4 corsa works out at £260 for me...saxo is £505 at moment...will be cheaper in may for both..
i have lots of corsa goodies still and want one back in my life for gsi kitting and such likes it would be more expensive 2 run 2 car's but they are both cheap to run...other option is to buy a real sports car and it cost the same

A 106 GTi kept up with me in the XE one day during a spirited drive.
Pulled in at a set of lights to be told it had only just had a re-build by peugeot ecosse...

Yep, breather mods on these car give massive gains compared to other models
My missus VTS had a ABP magnex 2.5" system and back box with a enclosed induction kit, NO 4-2-1 tho and it still made 139bhp and 142bhp on 2 different dynos (dastek, Pug eccose).

a mate has a 106gti with ecosse induction kit, raceland 4-2-1, sports cat, pugsport exhaust. He got 145bhp and another car with identical mods apart from a de-cat got 150bhp, both cars are low mileage though.
