Looks smart. I do like the Escort GTI. Went to a Fiesta meet the other week and there was a mint silver one on its tits.

well its could have been silly things:
1) exhaust blowing
2) exhaust coroded
3) bald tyres
4) coroded brake pipes
5) worn disks
6) bad brakes due to worn disk
7) no handbrake because handbrake cable snapped
8) headlights aim too high or too low
9) few bulbs out
10) wipers dont clean the windscreen
11) wheel bearing gone..

thats 11 things and they can happen to any car.. no matter whats the milleage.

Well yea it was several stupid things such as above, but the labour and parts cost came together at more than the car was worth, not to mention I think a sensor or 2 was playing up due to the engine sounding less than healthy on idle. I would never have another one, not even comfy to drive, back would hurt after an hour at the wheel, think i was twisting to stay in front of the wheel
