I think I made a thread about this a while ago but I can't find it (no search)  My policy is due in a few weeks and The best I found was £250 fully comp but with a fucking huge £600 excess.
Are there any other good insurance companies out there that might have not been found by confused.com and compare the market?
Not a modified car so it doesn't need to be anywhere that does those.

Excess doesnt really matter as long as you dont crash into anyone / anything

Yea but could anyone afford up front £600
Id go through and amend the current info you have and amend the excess voluntry to get a total excess to suit you and see who quotes then.
As a good majority of companies are on them anyway to be honest.
Only specialist companies like Adrian Flux wouldn't show up on them, so maybe worth giving them a bell?

have u tried churchill? they are cheap for everyone in my family.. dads incurance is 200 fully comp with 3ncb,
mum and sister on clio is 250 fully comp
mine is 600 on a corsa fully comp/

The next best one I got was £354.11p with £100 excess. Sounds ok I guess.
I phoned up Flux and they asked me what my best quote was and I said £354 and he goes "oh, well becuase you're only 22 for us to insure you you're looking at double that at least!!!"
What a rip off. ha

With a £600 excess theres no point in me having fully comp in the first place!

but if some jealous twat does your car over then you're £600 down . my excess is £500 so i'm always worrying about where i park it.
i could've had a 1k excess and £1500 insurance but i didn't want to take the risk.

if some one crashes into you, u will have to pay excess anyway...
but if car is worth 300 pounds...then it worth having silly excess...

im sure if someone crashes into you, you dont have to pay any excess at all, you just claim on the other persons insurance
