I am.

It's depressing.

Everyone speculating how we'll be paying 110% in tax and a loaf of bread and a litre of petrol will be £11.41 in 2011.

It's Xmas coming soon, and, working with children I'd rather enjoy the run up to it and not bother myself with how VAT is going to be 55% in Janurary 2011 and other bits and peices.

Just shhhhhhh for now, we're living at the moment, lets just leave it at that.

I don't wanna pick up a paper these days because its just "We're fucked, we're fucked, Gorden Brown, Darling" etc etc.

Anyone else agree or am I right in saying that we need to be constantly depressed!

It does get a bit depressing when everyone goes on about it all ALL the time.

Yes, I like to know the current situation but I really couldn't care what the distant furture holds because we cannot change it.

At work, everyone is soo down because Petrol isnt 50p a gallon and food is expensive, I swear everyone is SAD as well here

Once you know why everything is how it is, it makes a whole lot of sense the way things are going to go

i.e most people don't realise that money is just an i.o.u.

People who moan tend not to appreciate how the economy works and tend to clucth at straws and take what the Sun writes as gospel.

Agree with Fad, if people weren't so f-ing stupid in the first place this country wouldn't be in the mess it's in.

I to am sick to the back teeth of hearing about it, why does it have to be forced down our throats 24/7, it's driving me insane. I turn the news off now. Especially BBC, doom merchants. If they didn't report on it people would just continue as normal, but the more times you tell people that the world is going to end the more the stupid general public are going to believe it.

All radio 1 news talk about is the credit crunch.

Its boring me to be honest. If you savvy and shop around the credit crunch makes lttle difference tbh.

Great time to bag a bargain in regards to property. Buy 15-20% below asking price to cover yourself

Reading CS depresses me these days; MPG, the price of bread, fuel prices, how much it costs for a tub of car polish.

Who GA flying F?

You're only young once, go get drunk and pump birds.

Hmm but then again the last time we were in a recession did the conservatives make it worse hence "black Wenesday"?

At least they are trying to stimulate the economy durring an anvoidable cyclical event?

I am not a labour fan in any way but Gordon Brown at least has an understanding of what is happening.

I was in a meeting with a bank manager yesterday and he is pretty certain interest rates will drop and further 1% in the next two weeks.

So a 3% decrease is going to improve the positon of mortgagees and possibly stimiulate lending.

Savers are screwed though

I really am going to buy a house next year. I'm going to laugh at my foolish mates that bought there houses at there maximum values and had to settle for 1 bedroom houses.

At least now I will be able to get a house with a garage and a driveway, REPO FTW

Interest rates are dropping, but you try getting a decent mortgage without a big deposit to own a fair chunk of the house.

WE're jsut lucky house prices haven't dropped in our area or we'd be really in poop house.
