oh my good that is the scariest and most shocking film I've seen in ages. If you've seen the trailer then you know what to expect. Absolutely outstanding.

Ive not seen the hollywood remake out of principal. The original film, [REC], was absolutely fantastic, easily my favourite horror film ever. The acting was outstanding, the storyline was great, and the first-person point of view really worked. I guess it must be a bit annoying having to read the subtitles, which is something that didnt affect me, but my mate who I watched it with the first time doesnt speak spanish and he loved it too

yeh same as drunkenfool, the hollywood one (quarantin) is appranrantly just a complete remake so you probebly wont appriciate it now you have seen quaranitine.
theres another film (french) simular to that recent hollywood film were those kids show up at that house and kill people(carnt rember name) however the French version is an actul based on a true strory and is a million times better. will try and find the name of it

Isn't it called Strangers or something the Hollywood one, where those people turn up at someones house and kill them etc, because they were "in" it used to say on the trailer?
So is [REC]. the original, and Quarantine is the remake?

I heard Strangers was utter shit.
But [REC] is the original to Quarantine, says so in the credits too.

yeh strangers is utter gobshite, however this french one, after looking about "ILS" is the name of it. Real good, worth watching

Ending on the trailer ruined it...
but some good jumpy bits.. got a bit all wtf at some points..
also there was a random as bit that was never utilised..
Pretty much they were stood on the stairs iirc and a white figure moved across the screen
