Did this on sunday. The Ford is now finished (for now, the bodyshop kept suggesting superchargers ) so we took it for a spin and to get some pics.





Digi dash:


It has P/S and Leccy windows (from a Grand Cherokee) and a heater for the front window, thats it for 'mod cons'










Dart 408ci Alu block, just under 7 litres
Eagle crank
Keith Black pistons + rods
Edelbrock heads
Demon carb
MSD Ignition
Straight through SS exhaust
Ford C6 gearbox + Locker diff.
Roughly 480bhp

Its taken years to get this far, its been driveable at each stage and with every 'upgrade' the replaced parts were sold for a good price. I can't remember what it cost to Import but it came from Texas. Its a 1953.
It has no floor in the rear bed, just a chequerplate cover. When thats removed you can see the axle and shocks etc.
It'll never be 'run in' and it'll never be painted, just left in primer

if u want a charger my gf's will be selling his soon, as hes building an Ultima GTR and the engine hes got for it came with a charger, but hes took it off and put twin turbos on it. thats if the charger fits :S

Tax is free. Insurance for my dad is pretty cheap too, hes with Adrian Flux and its on a special 'American Import' policy with limited mileage for a few hundred a year.
