Relitively new to paypal and unsure how it works

Got £60 paid into m paypal as I sold something, Now I can transfer it to my bank which takes 3-5working days

But what I want to know is, can I order something online and just use the money out of my paypal to pay for it?

If so, How?

buy from either ebay, or online, there a tab which means you can send money to people ( incase your buying from anouther member). also try and only withdraw money over £50 as it costs you other wise.

If you win something on eBay then go to pay via PayPal it'll automatically debit from your PayPal balance and not your credit debit card. If you don't particularly need the cash leave it in your PayPal then when you win something on eBay and come to pay for it it's a nice surprise when you don't have to pay out of your bank account.

It was automatic though, I had no option. I always get charged for withdrawals to my bank a/c.

I sold a lens for £380 and Paypal took £13.12 as soon as the money went into it.

Is this correct.

ANy money transfered is open to a charge by paypal, thats how they make their money. They dont just do it for free. So if someone pays you money you get charged and if you pay someone else then they get charged. And if your like me and sell more than 3 items a year you get charged even more! lol

How did you get the £70 into your paypal? You would have been charged then.

I sold an engine and gearbox and the guy payed me via paypal.

Ok i think paypal took £2 off me.

But to transfer it from my paypal account to my bank account was free.

(anything over £50 is free to transfer.)
