hmm when i was watching wreck to rcihes on discovery where they were repairing written off cars, they did some checks and said that now insurance companys will insure these cars and premiuim will not increase..

Premium wont be affected but if you make a claim against a recorded car the market value is adjust and thus they tend to be written off easier.
