Yesterday was the Crewes missiles (Mini Owners club based in Crewe) Charity pink run which I went along to with my gf and her mini. 49 owners dressed themselves and their minis up in all things pink and take part in the run from Crewe to portmadog to raise funds for breast cancer research. A great day was had and best of all, over £1200 was raised for the charity.

Unfortunatley one member fell victim to a hit run accident but thankfully the car's number plate was written down before they drove off and at this type of event theirs no shortage of witnesses

anyway, some pics....

and or course we all needed a splash of petrol..

haha yeh

The mini scene is awesome because each car is individual and different in some way. I think its partly down to the differences in models because the mini was produced over such a long period of time. Certainly turned plenty heads along the way and got a fair few flashes and thumbs up

without a doubt mate

When the hit and run accident happened all the cars pulled into a layby (That many minis in a layby really is a sight to behold lol) and when we left again an organiser, dressed as Mr. Blobby stopped all teh traffic so we could get out Other drivers certainly looked bemused

Sadly I left my shopping until the last minute and couldnt find anything

My gf had lots of pink on, as did many other members of the club. One lad went wearing just a pink mankini, Borat style raised a fair few quid for it too Although he did have a coat on too for alotof the day
