I nearly bought one this week but changed my mind, they look a wee bit dated though since the new one come out, and they just remind me of a taxi!

Wise man's Passat imho.

But you can go on forever tbh.

Want an Audi A4? Get a Passat! Want a Passat? Get an Octavia.

very good cars imo, dad's got one although he's just bought a new TT.

Lots of room,go pretty quick and build quality is pretty good, dads never had a problem with his and still looks mint after 4 years.

Taxi!

Not a fan of the Octavia, but then I wouldn't buy a Passat / A4 either.

I do quite like the Fabia, just wish they done it in a 3dr

I think you'll find not. Octavia, Passat and A4 are the same size. Skoda don't really make a Golf competitor as the Fabia is more a Polo imho.

The octavia competes against the Astra, Focus, Megane, Auris, Leon etc..
It is in C segment and Passat is in the D.
It would be the new Superb that is competing for sales from the A4, Passat etc...

I work on Skoda now too, i dont think they are as built proof as everyone says, (skoda/audi/seat or vdub) they do fault alot! Nitemare to work on sometimes too, only get around 20 minutes to service them haha.
