Hey guys,

Not sure if anyone has done it before, but i'm considering butchering a LET into my S2 106 rallye. BUT, not sure if it will physically fit in the engine bay yet. Does anyone have any dimensions?

Ta,

Anton

The key dimension is the width, from bottom pulley to end of gearbox. I can deal with bulkhead cutting etc, but cant be bothered to move the turrets.

any why? how do you suppose the Corsa can handle a let, and a 106 won't? So roll cages also add no structural integrity to a car? Don't think you have heard much to be honest.

well to fit an mi16 into a 106 you have to widen the whole lot im sure ive heard. I think it will fuck it up imo

Dont think i've heard much tbh Im not the one asking about putting a let into a 106

Have you asked on 106 forums about it?

i think the reaon they fit into the 205 is because of the deeper bay (if you get me) iirc.

i heard a mi16 is a right ballache into a 106, top mounts have to be moved outwards, cant imagine a let

EDIT: i mean mi16 into 205, not let.

on a serious note id take yourself to migweb and ask on there if you really want to do it then why not.... just because its hard doesnt mean you shouldnt do it .. seems people on here are just gonna call you a thick cunt and tell you it will fall apart

Haha, cheers sportyboy. I am more than capable of making it fit, but its turns into too much of a hassle if its too wide, hence i was asking the dimensions.

Anyhoo, not going to get much help on corsasport, as usual, its getting spammed up by negative comments

Maybe asked in 'Fazza's' project build. He has just taken out his let from a calibra, and im sure he would be more than happy to help.

dimension wise in comparison with a rallye nugget id say you'd have to go wider. What measurements do you need? point to point engine on the engine mounts? and depth?
