Bought my self one of these last week for rabbiting its a CZ 452 .22lr rimfire rifle with Sak mod.

And the grouping at 60 yards ignor the shot nearly out of the circle that was my poor aiming.

Can see the bolt on it, meaning it's definitely not an air rifle.

And you do have a firearms certificate?

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Not the case, air rifles can have bolts. i used to have a Webley Raider it was a pre charged air rifle, with a bolt

Not exactly super expensive. You can pick a decent brand new rifle up for under £500/600 but it's getting a FAC that can be tricky under certain circumstances. You need a valid location with permissions to shoot and you need to prove that you have a proper reason to own one.

Yeh i have an FAC the rifle i have put picture up of is a rifle that shoots subsonic bullets. I also have a bolt action air rifle (BSA Superten) this is why people get mistaken. The whole set up of the CZ 452 including an extra 10 shot mag beretta sling, harris bipod, scope mounts etc cost £490 pound i also have a Deben tracer max lamp with red filter which is a must have for lamping. To get your FAC i had already my shotgun certificate and a bolted down cabinet with seperate ammo store plus plenty of land so it was easy for me.

I've not shot anything in so long..

I remember when I went to America to visit family in virginia, my uncle took me, my dad and cousin to a redneck shooting range in the middle of nowhere.. There were guys with ak47's and all sorts..
My uncle had two rifles though.. A 9mm that he let us shoot with and what I can only describe as an elephant gun.. Took 10mins to load and the noise omg!

Bsa super tens are excellent but the s-16 are not so good.

Air arms s410s are with a look.

They are ok mate but i really wish i got an airarms s410 they are excellent. I had problems with the buddy bottles i would pump them upto 235bar then it would leak the air out because of the valves and when you have 235bar in a bottle its fuking scary

Would have just needed new seals, BSA used to send the seals out for free.
Not much would touch a tuned superten, also excellent at FAC levels, more refined than a theoben rapid imho.
