GSi is covered in them, want to tidy it up a bit. Tried polish, useless, they are a bit to deep for the that.

Is there a finer type of sandpaper I can use? I think it's 1000 Grit not all that abasive.

Any recommendations on use etc

Don't use fucking T-Cut will add scratches not take them away!

Ojc.... I'm same dread to think what I've spent on CYC in last 12 months!

DoDo Lime Prime will get rid of light scratches, if you can get use of a machine polisher anything polish wise should "help"

Just don't go for anything to drastic!

It's worse than machine work it's the GSi not the VXR.

It has been keyed at some point in its life, before I owned it. But it's not that deep and would probably come out with some proper work.

I borrowed some of that G3, G5, G10 abraisive stuff when I was tidying the paint up on my Sport, that did a good job at getting some of the deeper scratches out.

You need to flat and polish the scratches, Flat using 2000 or even 1500 fine sandpaper, (wet) then dry where you have done, and use G3 Cuttin compound and a polishing mop. Well thats what i do do at the bodyshop i work in.

go to a local bopdyshop and ask if they can just flat and polish it, depending on scratches it wont take long and if you catch a guy on a break could slip a tenner to him for doing it but make sure he polishes it well and doesnt leave any flatting scratches.

Don't go wet-sanding it if you plan to polish it out by hand - even 3000 grit you'll struggle to polish completely by hand.

Bodyshop, or give me a shout - I wouldn't class light scratching and keying in the same category though?

You'll know what I'm talking about if you saw it. From some angles you can't see it, others you can.

I'd be surprised if it needs wetsanding then tbh. A fairly strong polish I've used by hand with results is Sonus SFX-1 - may be worth a bash
