I don't understand why there isn't a restriction of people selling stuff on here.

Say minimum of 3 months and 100 posts before you can trade. I see these people signing up a week ago, have all these wonderful parts for sale and straight away I'm thinking "dodgy"

Your right. But TBH, for the buyer not to do their homework before hand and not find out info regarding a new member thats selling an item just helps them get away with it..

Shouldn't be allowed to sell on here if you are not premium, and by becoming premium you should have to provide a valid name and address, and contact details.

So to become premium, you are sent out a letter with a membership number, then once it is received, email an admin to confirm the number, which will in turn verify the address

that will never happen, and it would make classifieds not as good as it currently is, there are other steps to stop being ripped off!

hell of a lot of admin work involved in that. good idea in principle though.

what about people like me who were premium for 3 years and now decided not to renew, but still have stuff to sell?
