that had a family that went into hiding, after the father did something to upset the dodgy owner of the company he worked for? As far as I remember, they buggered off to Australia, but then they were found after the daughter was found to be speaking to the dodgy owners son and I have no idea what happened after that.
Pretty sure it was a BBC thing, but not 100%

dude. i remember reading the book when i was younger. Never saw the bbc series tho. Cant remember what its called  ill try find the book later.

it was 2 teenage girls and there rents. Moved into witness protection. The dad used to drive a daimler i belive (in the book anyways)

Thats the one! I think the dad found out that the company was doing something dodgy and reported them to the press, or the Police or something. Their house was burned down, and when they went to Australia, they were found because the daughter had been seeing the son of the dodgy guy.
