You'll probably need a guarantor due to your age to get accepted on finance

Is your job seure? Dont want to be laking on debt if its maybe not!!

I had 10k of finance at 19 & looking back probably shouldnt have!! If you only need a couple k's to get a corsa then it shouldnt be so bad. Try blackhorse finance

He should get the same APR on car finance as anyone else. He may need a guarantor though if he has little to no previous credit history.

golden rule, may seem obvious but many people don't take the advice:

only take out what you can repay...

You shouldn't need a guarantor as your 18, but worth asking also as Ben G said only take out what you can repay, plus don't want to go skinting yourself ive got my Polo on finance costing me £170/mnth, which aint too bad and other bills on top which leaves me about £305/mnth to spend.

Word of warning; DONT GO TO CARCRAFT, they are robbing bar-stewards.

Edit; Please do not use text talk!

as most people have said..
most places will only lend you the money is you earn enough and work so many hours, also some do have restriction on them.

btw its best to get a bank loan, if you cnt afford to pay at any time for any reason, sell the car and repay back, and another reason is if you want to change car, unlike finance from a garage

Ive got a car on finance and after 8 months of payments the settlement figure is still more than the car was to buy... i'd advise against it if its for personal use, I got mine for business but no longer need it and cant get rid yet!

Get a second-job, save up the cash from it and buy the car cash - you will appreciate it more
