Bit of a problem here, my car has been in the garage for the last 3 days having some warranty work sorted, it looks like the parts needed won't be coming in until Tuesday. In the mean time, I am not sure if the car is safe to drive so will probably need a courtesy car.

If they don't have any available, can I ask to borrow a demonstrator for the weekend would you think providing it isn't booked for appointments?

Demand a car. If they don't give you one, issue them with a rental bill.

I've had this before with the tossers..

if you display a slight interest in the E90 M3 they will quite probably let you borrow it, well if it isn't booked out already... It'll only piss off the salesman who was hoping to take it home for the weekend!

My Dad's previous car was an A4; it had numerous problems with it within a few weeks fo dleivery including a cracked sump and head. They had the car back to replace the engine and do a load of other week so for 1month they gave dad an RS4 and fuel vouchers! That was a demonstrator

I have already test driven it, and went through the options list etc with the salesman - I guess I can use that as ammo to say I would really like an extended drive of it to see if it's worth the extra doller. Will report back soon with result IF they say my car isn't safe to drive over the weekend (my headlights are shagged and keep flickering).
