Got a new keyboard, decided I don't want it, ebuyer want me to phone up to RMA it so just stuck it on ebay instead.
Guy emailed me saying he was from greece and how much would postage be, good feedback etc so just got a price instead of ignoring it.
Put it into interparcel and it was showing up as about £25 so sent this back to him.
He replied
Maybe you think that Greece is in Africa or you didn't notice my 38 transactions.. I have bought many and bigger items from UK and never paid more than 12 pounds. So please check better and give me a reasonable price or else send me the link of your postal service that asks 25 pounds for such a package.

I couldn't think of a word to send back apart from cnut, I sent badger though because it's via ebay and I don't want records of me calling him a cnut.

i have a tracky top for sale on ebay at the moment which is worth a good £30, so i listed it at buy it now 99p, with the postage set at £24.99 so i only pay fees on the 99p, some yank bought it then when i invoice him, he started kickin off about the postage, ends up he didnt want to pay the insane postage costs, even though the top was only 99p, so i said fair do's cock, but i'll have to report it to ebay as an unpaid item, so he payed me £1 to cover my fees

yes because charging extortionate postage costs to avoid paying fee's and/or covering paypal fee's isn't against the rules
if i was in the uk, i'd pay it, get it, then claim saying the postage costs were overpriced & use the postage cost receipt (printed on the actual label) to prove my case, aswell as quotes from postoffice.
fucks me off when cocks overcharge postage.

Why? Do you have keyboards with "eeeeee", "ecky" and "thump" in Yorkshire?

what difference does it make to you whether i pay fees to ebay or not? if the item is worth £30, why does it bother you that i get the money and pay less fees to ebay? its not like im charging £30 for the item them shadily charging extra for postage, im selling something thats worth £30 for 99p, dont feel sorry for ebay lad, they dont do badly.

I have to agree, I live in Spain and get things shipped over here off ebay and the like every week, and every now and again people quote stupid amounts to post things. sites like parcel2go offer like 8pound delivery, same with royal mail international signed for so theres no real reason to charge massive amounts.
Although Im not 100% about shipping to Greece lol

think about it, people think its a bargain and try to buy it then you say postage is £xx.xx .... more than the thing... its just scamming in my eyes... no offence dude.

its not scamming ffs, ur getting the item for cheaper, if the buyer puts it at £29 and £1 postage ur still getting it for £30, can you not see that? ur not losing out if ur buying the item.

Just noticed the idiots commenting on items costing a pound with 20 quid postage, of course it's to dodge ebay fees, that doesn't mean they are charging too much for postage, if you don't like it don't buy it.
Some people shouldn't be allowed access to computers.
