How many miles are BMW's good for?

Say something like a 330ci etc.

As there are ones with 70k selling for 8-10k?

Mines done 61k and feels as fresh as a daisy.

I know of a 330d which has done a lot of miles and is still going strong.

As long as they're looked after, they're reliable.

engines well over 200k one's with 70k are starting to need parts like bushes (they are heavy so wear faster than corsa's etc) clutch, possible drop link and front wishbones.

My old 328i sport was on 146K and drove like new.
Although it did have a replacement engine but that was early on in its life.

ok i'll tell you what mine has had and it's on 102k
clutch
front wishbones and bushes
rear drop links and Rear trailing arm bushes
thats it really apart from regular services.
another thing is the bmw oil service is every 12k but when say you have 2-3 green bars left its probably best to get a half way oil change

Just remember, buying them cheap doesn't mean repairs will be cheap.

another thing again 12k is on normal driving if you plant it everywhere the serviceing module will know and decrease the service interval.

my 325 has 162k miles.

It's off the road at the moment for repairs (subframe/diff bushes), but the engine still pulls hard and strong, with no issues.

Cusin had a 740 with 180k he bought it without batting an eyelid.

Lots of beemas are clocked out there tbh, Brothers mate bought a 523 E39 with a suposed 90k on it after doing some searches and finding some service history it transpires it has a service done back in 2004 at 140k miles God knows how much its really done

As mentioned supsension componants and general wear and tear occure before the engine goes.

I'm on 112k on a 1994 E36 325. Just got it serviced, needed an interior bulb and that was all. It has been really well looked after tho.
