Ok, so atm I'm unemployed. My car is on finance and in my current situation I can't afford it.

I have been offered the money to pay it off but will also need to pay that back.

My mum suggested it paying it off and selling then getting something slightly cheaper.

Still need something cheap to insure, cheap tax and reliable. Ideally want as new as possible.

EDIT: I DO NOT WANT A CORSA B

I don't get it, come on here and ask for opinions but then say don't want a Corsa B?

Cheap, economical, reliable. Get a nice Sport 1.4 16v for £1500 with aircon, decent seats, electric everything in nice colours.

This is the point I'm making, a decent car with all mod cons in decent condition can be had for very little money. If I was unemployed I wouldn't have a 5/6k car.

Why would you spend so much on a car if you want to "pay the finance off" ?

Get something cheaper
