definite advantages are that there so universal, you can kit it all up with super wide archesand have it as a show car or you could completely strip it and have it as a track car, fill it with ice, theres just loads of things you can do to them! disadvantages.....not many aprt from try and go for the more top range of the model your looking at just so its nicer otherwise the interior is abit like a stagecoach.

corsa c..for a grand good luck, if your not 17 for another 5 months why get a car now, save your money, you wont be able to drive it, if need be wait til you pass your test, have much more money..i was going to do the same as you, but i waited and difference in car i got was a shock..2k corsa b, low milage at top spec compared to the corsa i was going to get before i was 17, which was old and shit..think about it

they are slow and unreliable your better saving up and getting a 1.2

the only people who like 12vs are the people that own / have owned one

I'd have a 1.0 over a 1.2 8v any day! Engine wise I've had no problems with mine and has been very reliable Cant go wrong for a first car.

However if fund allow a 1.2 16v would be very nice!
