Anyone noticed the price of insurance has gone up a fair bit over the past few months?
I have been running some quotes through on a few cars. Now i put through the same cars, at the same places only a few months ago. And none of my details have changed.
The prices are rediculous compared to only a few months back.

Credit crisis strikes again

if anything mine have gone down? values of cars have gone down so theoreticaly the price of insurance should reflect that as in the event of a claim they dont have to cough up as much if the cars written off.

I got a quote for my fezza, £1400!

Thats more than what i paid the first year of driving on it at 17!

I put my dad as a secondary driver and it went down to £800 which for me at 18, and the cars value £9k, isnt too bad!

But yes, prices have gone through the roof as insurance companies know we cant go without!

I think the opposite, between me and Rach we insure 3 cars and they are coming right down in price.

Astra is only £575 quid, Corsa is £380, Fiesta £300.
