Clio and Corsa arn't hot hatches though, they are superminis.

Also included in this class is the Civic Type R, Mazda MP3 (?), Golf GTi, think theres even a few more.

Its a big competitive class.

Focus, for the noise, and they are a VERY good car, I've driven one or two, and a couple of Astra VXRs, the Focus is better IMO.

Although I'd downsize and have a Clio 197 Cup.

^ Supermini, not a hot hatch.

Same platform as a corsa, which is a supermini.

I like the older hatches personally.

Mk2 xr2,
Renault 5 turbo,
Fiat uno turbo,
Mk 2 golf gti,
1275 gt clubman etc.

Not keen on new hatches, older hatche's have style and more character imo.
