I loved my 106 gti and NEVER had any bother with it in the year I had it. Just as quick as the civic and looked better imo

Slightly biased opinion Depends really... You can sell the VTi and make a profit buying a GTi probably. With that, buy a de-cat, 4-2-1 and decent induction kit and say toodaloo VTi

yeah understand what your saying eck, but after being out in a few gtis and owning the civic, the gti is what 130bhp? the civic is 160 both from 1.6 engines, so you've got a better base to start. gtis are great round twisties, as is the civic, id say the 106 is better on smaller tighter corners due to its size and weight however, all depends what kind of driving you do and where you live etc i suppose

Yeah mate, not much in it in a straight line between the two. It is all down to personal preference. I love my 106
