i did post in the help section but i need to know asap as im about to go out the door and buy one..

the winter weather has killed my battery, wont start or nothing, and ive been to halfrauds and priced one up earlier..

4 year gurantee calcium heavy duty one for my lil old corsa..

its 500amp :S not sure if thats alot or

its 79.99 but i can get it for 52 (trade)

anyone help me asap pleasee..

i may not need it but im thinking i could do with that big more, as i usually listen to the stereo when im waiting for my girlfriend to finish work n its dead when i come to start it..

just wondering if that would be plenty enough for what i need?

and also is 500amp alot?

Vauxhall Trade Club price for a new battery is cheaper than that I believe...

Halfords bateries aregood, expensive though. Id only buy one if I was planning on keeping the car for a considerable period, otherwise just get a cheap one that will last & do the job!!

as normal as normal can be yeah, was on my 1.2 8v for a year no problems, you really dont need a heavy duty one unless you want the piece of mind

Wire your stereo up so that it comes on without the ignition being turned on and itl last for hours without draining the battery.
And any decent £35 battery will do the job.Or if your wanting 1 cheap,hunt around the scrappies for a diesel battery.Get them to mark it so if its fuked u can return it and get another.

i do want the piece of mind lol, my car keeps going flat, even when i leave it for an hour its deads..

plus ive got a small install (sub+amp) so would like to listen to that for abit without the engine running (when im waiting for the misses lol)

Your battery must be well and trully fuked.

Get a normal 1 itl be just as good.

I had a 470amp one on my diesel corsa. I used to leave the sound system running for a good few hours (1200watt amp powering 2 subs, 450watt amp powering 6x9s. I had a 1 farrad powercap too) It used to start easily even after been cranked up for a few hours

hello halfords barny (cant remember his name) speaking, hi mate could you please check the ah (amp hour) on a corsa battery, the 500amp one, erm hold on a second (5minutes) hi, sorry but we havnt got the information, erm it says it on the battery mate, ohhh the best bet is to ring a garage and ask them as i dont know...ok bye!

shortend down but my god, the batterys are right foooking there infront of the desk!!
