its voluntary but you will be refused entry if you don't do it........? so if you are worried about failing the test you walk out of the bar/club.......then the cops search you anyway because you have obviously used some kind of drug recently.

Saw this on a police type programme few months ago, I think it's a good idea. Having worked in a bars for years there's nothing worse than having customers in off their face and causing hassle.

Happily test me, I'd also rather not be stuck in a pub / club with folk that do use them

I can't see how drugs cause more of a problem than drink tbh.
Weed? Chills people out. Doubt they'll be confronting anyone.
Coke? Ok, might make them cocky, no more than drink
Pills? Make them feel full of love and be happy and make friends with anyone

i'd rather have someone who has had a line of coke than someone who is pissed. if they are gonna test people they should breathalise them too. nothing worse than drunk people.

If the bouncers did their job right, in most instances, that would be enough. It's fairly easy to tell the difference between a stoner who's more likely to hit a fit of the giggles than start hassle than a coked up ned looking for a boxing match.
