ok so im looking at buying a corsa LET
the current owner says the only downfall to the car is a rattle to the exhaust
mountings etc are all spot on he says he had a powerflow front pipe made and this was joined to the existing back section and there is some metal loose in the exhaust which rattles when driving.(guessing around mid section)
i am also unsure if its de-catted or not
anyway just wondering if the rattle could be due to the metal or is somethin seriously wrong???
any help appreciated dont wanna be buying a dog

start the car when you go to view it, listen to where the rattle is comming from, might just be heatshield rattler or something...

then get under the car and have a look.

check every little thing, down to how much wear the disks have/how many clicks the

if your buying a let corsa and you think a rattley exhaust makes it a dog...thats the least of your worries pal

All depends on how it was built pal... Mine drives as good as my astra coupe (as factory) and give's me no worries at all.

it could be the flexi pipe near the cat if one is fitted

Dan tells me yours was done properly though col...but lot of conversions these days wont be

cheers lads he says hes had it rebuilt around last year and hes got all receipts to prove so...
will most definbatelt give it a check but dont wanna make the effort of goi out if the exhaust seems a problem
everything else is apparently fine thanks guys
