For those of you that are money worried like i am when buying products may like to know that i found this induction kit on Ebay advertised for an Astra that has the perfect diameter for us c20xe corsa owners. I have bought one and will be fitting it tomorrow to check all is well but the actual quality of this item is very good. Just a little heads up to you all

Surely this 1 would be alot better seeing as its enclosed, and away from the heat of the manifold.
Ebay linl

Corsaloonjc has just fitted 1 too his XE corsa and said it didnt make any difference.

TBH the standard 1400/1600 airbox is fine and wont soak up the heat from the mani(and lets face it,they do get awfy hot).

More than likely its not carbon just plastic with a look-a-like film wrapped around it!

I like the raw noise of my proper carbon filter. (but most induction kit give you that on the small block xe's), and i did think it pull nicers between 4-5.5k, but when i chaged it for th standard unit, it had smoother power of move of the rev rane which i liked. Not the same hardcore noise but the driveability was alot nicer!
