Just a quick question someone with experience might know the answer too...
Last year at uni i shared a house with 2 other people...
We got out a joint account to all put money into to pay the bills with...
We went overdrawn once and had to pay the £38 fine...
20 days later when the fine was finally deducted from our account it made us go overdrawn again so we got charged £38 again...
This happened about 3-4 more times.... in totaled we paid something stupid like £250 to natwest in a 8 month period because we intially went overdrawn about a quid.
Was just wondering as we have now levelled the account and stopped the DD's can we claim this back?
I hope so let me tell you that.

Cannot claim them back at the moment as the technicalities are being fought in court
But I was also under the impression that it worked both ways, with the banks being unable to charge customers till the matter is resolved in court.

They can still charge until the case has been closed, so to speak.
