yo

Saw it on pistonheads, phoned the guy up literally 10 seconds later, traveled 260 miles, gave deposit....done
It's a 323i in hellrot red with electric everything including electric fold out rear windows , 18 button on board computer, big folder full of history . For anyone not in the know it's a 2.5 straight 6 restricted to 170bhp with it's stupid inlet, so will change that for a m50 (325i) manifold and should see about 190bhp and about 200lb/f
Hopefully get better pics up on saturday or sunday morning, as i need to arrange a carrier to brin it back up here

Never realised the rears could be electric! Mum had a 328 e36 coupe, it was a great car.

yup defo doing that, it's about £40 for two front indicator lenses.
needs a different exhaust to unleash the 6 pot's true sound, but might enjoy the quietness of this car first compared to the corsa.

Nice car
Leave the exhaust standard
So many E36's are being chav'd up with loud exhausts and wat not

Agreed, I don't think exhausts sound right on BMW's! Tell a lie the only one I've liked so far was on an E46 M3
Looks very nice mate, decent spec too.

Thats really nice, the manifold swap is a really good gain, also you can get a bigger throttle body for it also to free up abit power and rev abit nicer!
If going for insuction kit log onto e36coupe and look for Dave.F. - build the kits and gives a proven 8(ish) bhp gain do his kits.

yeah i'm on that forum and the cost is £390 for the bbtb and manifold, pretty cheap for an extra 20bhp odd.
The thing is with the davef kit is people say that it will still get heat soak compared to a viper or bmc and bmc's are about the same cost.

Yeah alpina kid sells the kit, really worth the money! I Like the Dave.f. kit if i am honest but i do see people's view as a BMC is encolsed so..

Hello fellow 323 owner.
Im running around 200bhp, 328 full exhaust and bbtb.
When i got the bmw, i was quite suprised at how strong and well built the car is.

you had any problems with yours? i know about the usual bushes and wishbones and mine has had the front bushes and wishbones replaced a few weeks ago and has had rear drop links and bushes done not that long ago as well and new clutch......it's been well looked after.
