Right, I though i'd never say this, but the temptation of a Boxter for 8k, for a nice one, is too good to be true?

I know they're a cheap mans porsche etc, btu would love one at 21 ..

What you think?

You think? Don't know what the engines etc are good for? Would you prefer the TT over the Boxter?

Parts won't be cheap. Cheap to buy, not cheap to run.

Probably.

Nah, I'd still prefer a boxster over a TT any day. Wouldn't ever want a TT, where as I'd have a boxster.

I'm only talking blindlly about the bills. I've never owned one or know anybody who has. Just with the scoobys I've had being dear fixes, then I'd imagine Porsches wouldn't be much cheaper.

The thing is, no one knows what all the things mean, people see the car and think porsche, probably 90% of everyday people dont realise which is which. Lash an S after boxster and no one will no, or even take the badge off al together.

If you're worried about what people think, don't be.

90% of comments will be "whooooooo you drive a porshe" with 10% being people who have a bit of car knowledge and will say "pfff, poor mans porshe etc", chances are they will drive a saxo anyway!

Someone brought this up the other day, is a corsa a poor mans astra?

At 21 what sort of cars are most people driving? not Boxsters, get one.
